Friends for Pets was set up in 2008 after the partners, Becca and Corinne, found that there was a lack of high quality and reliable dog walking and cat sitting services in the Somerset. With little advertising other than word of mouth, the professional dog walking company grew (it still is growing!) requiring extra dog walkers and pet carers to be recruited. We now have a large dog walking team that cover Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Cardiff, Nailsea, Wells and the surrounding areas!

Becca is one of the founding partners of Friends for Pets. Becca loves being outside with her four horses. She has had many years experience dealing with a wide range of animals. She has an MSc in Equine Science and is an associate animal and equine lecturer at a local college teaching animal and pet care courses. She has previously worked as a behaviour and welfare scientist in Pakistan for an international charity caring for working equines. Becca's main reason for starting Friends for Pets was that she did not want to put her dog into kennels when she went on holiday and found there was a lack of luxury dog boarding companies available and wanted to use a home from home dog boarding service. Becca regularly travels to Bath to help out the Bath dog walking team as well as helping with the Somerset dog walking team. Contact: becca@friendsforpets.co.uk

Corinne is one of the founding partners of Friends for Pets. She has lots of experience with animals and has two cats called George and Lucy. She has a wide range of experience with dogs, cats and small animals. Like Becca, Corinne started Friends for Pets because she needed a cat cat sitter who provided in home cat care for her cats whilst she was on holiday rather than putting them in a cattery. The rest of the team! ! Our dog walking team are experienced animal lovers. Many of them have their own animals and enjoy taking care of them so much that they would like to take care of yours too! We police check all of our pet carers and those which would like to offer our pet care company home from home dog boarding services undergo a thorough home check. We are not an agency and offer a personal, tailor made service for your individual pets. Some of our pet carers are qualified veterinary nurses or final year Veterinary students so if our animal requires extra vet help we can offer support with this. Pet care and dog walking can be offered in in Bristol, Bath, Somerset and the surrounding areas.
