Part 2.."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n \n \n \n\n \n \nAs promised here is\nthe second instalment of our blog on wonderful places to eat that welcome the\nfurry clientele as well!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>The Old Lock &amp; Weir Inn <\/strong>\u2013 this is an absolute favourite of\nmine!&nbsp; And if you have read our walking\nblog you will have heard me mention it.&nbsp;\nWhen I visit this lovely spot I do not tend to park in the car park,\ninstead I like to park at either Conham River Park or at Hanham woods (which is\njust down Castle Farm Road) and then walk the rest to really build up an\nappetite.&nbsp; This place is great in the\nsummer as they have a huge outdoor area with plenty of tables all beside the\nriver and in the summer they have been known to serve Thatcher slushies\n(nothing more refreshing on a hot sunny day!)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oldlockandweir.com\/\">https:\/\/oldlockandweir.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n \n \n<strong>Beese\u2019s Riverside Bar &amp; Garden<\/strong> \u2013 Again like <strong>The Old Lock &amp; Weir Inn<\/strong> if you feel like a walk before dinner\nand a quaint little boat trip then this is the place for you.&nbsp; You can park at Conhan River Park, walk along\nthe river with your four legged dinner companion and then simply catch the\nlittle boat across the river and boom you there!&nbsp; If you don\u2019t fancy the boat trip you can\ndrive there, but it is down a rather bumpy lane and there are limited parking\nspaces, but you can check out their website for tips on where to park&#8230;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beeses.co.uk\/\">https:\/\/www.beeses.co.uk\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n \n \n<strong>The Lock Keeper<\/strong> \u2013 is located just outside Keynsham beside the river, again\nthere is the opportunity to eat outside as they have a lovely garden and decked\narea!&nbsp; The last time I visited they\nserved an amazing lasagne, like Garfield this is my favourite food&#8230;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lockkeeperbristol.co.uk\/\">https:\/\/www.lockkeeperbristol.co.uk\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have the whole day to spend\neating and drinking (what better way to spend a day in my opinion) then I have\na quirky idea for you to try&#8230;&nbsp; The\nabove 3 places are all located within a decent dog walking distance of each\nother, so why not gather up a few friends with their doggies in tow and have a\n\u2018moving meal\u2019.&nbsp; What is this I hear you\nask??&nbsp; Well&#8230;.&nbsp; Start at one end of the river, stop off in\none place for pre dinner drinks, continue to the next for starters and main,\nand then finish off at the last pub for deserts and coffee??&nbsp; I guarantee you will have a tired and\ncontented pooch the next day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>The Pump House<\/strong> \u2013 is a fabulous place along the\nharbour side in the centre of Bristol, it is very dog friendly and has a\nwonderful gin menu&#8230;.what more could one ask for in the summer!?&nbsp; They even have a lovely area to sit outside;\nin the sun and watch the boats sail past&#8230;..A perfect summer evening if you\nask me!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-wordpress wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-wordpress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"016hk8WPKf\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the-pumphouse.com\/\">Home<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Home&#8221; &#8212; \" src=\"http:\/\/the-pumphouse.com\/embed\/#?secret=016hk8WPKf\" data-secret=\"016hk8WPKf\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n \n \n<strong>The Crafty Cow<\/strong> \u2013 is a lovely family pub located on the Gloucester\nRoad.&nbsp; It is ideal for a family dinner\nout, it has an indoor play area for kids, \u2018The Crafty Kids Area\u2019, a lovely beer\ngarden and they even serve doggie friendly ice cream, so even your pup can\nchill in the garden while you indulge in one of their many craft beers.&nbsp; Everyone will be happy!!&nbsp; And for when those autumn nights set in they\nhave a lovely log burner to snuggle up in front of, perfect for every time of\nthe year!&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/thecraftycowbristol.co.uk\/\">https:\/\/thecraftycowbristol.co.uk\/<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Thatchers Railway Inn<\/strong> \u2013 if you don\u2019t mind travelling a\nlittle way out from Bristol then this is a must, it is a perfect country pub\nowned by the Thatcher\u2019s family.&nbsp; They are\nextremely dog friendly, with the dogs being allowed in the bar area (just not\nthe restaurant) and they also have a lovely play area for the children in the\noutside space.&nbsp; The bar, obviously, comes\nfully stocked with all varieties of Thatchers Cider along with the usual\ntipples you would expect from any good pub, and to top off they even have a\nlovely open fireplace, so it is perfect even in the winter time!&nbsp;
