Becca our friends for pet\u2019s founder started her business up in 2008, as a local small business helping pet owners in the village with the care of their animals. She realised quickly that there was a big demand for pet care and needed some help with her growing clients. Becca got some more people involved with friends for pets, so she could take on more clients and offer a wider cover to the surrounding villages. This is when Becca investigated the option of franchising Friends for Pets. Becca\u2019s first year of franchising was 2011, so as well as managing her own team here in Shipham and the surrounding areas, Becca also took on new franchises and trained and supported them when they were setting up their friends for pets\u2019 business in their local area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the growing of the business and franchises, Becca also got married and had her first child in 2012. The juggle of being a wife, mum and businesswoman was a challenge, however having the flexibility of working from home and putting in the hours to work as and when she could, allowed her to have the time for it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Becca\u2019s children are now 10 and 8 and Becca has managed to work around them growing up and have flexibility of work around childcare\/school. Becca now has 15 franchises across the southwest, with many of these franchisees being mums and also running a successful business around their busy life being mums as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
