We have collection bins located in a couple of locations around the Cheddar and North Somerset areas (hoping to bring this project into a couple more areas soon). Lovely donators can then drop their pet related donations off in these locations and Friends for Pets will collect and deliver the donations to the local pet related charity. Friends for Pets will also match any donations given with a monetary donation. Our first charity we are collecting for is Dogs Friends <a href=\"http:\/\/dogsfriends.me.uk\/\"><span class=\"s2\">http:\/\/dogsfriends.me.uk<\/span><\/a> . They are particularly looking for:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Collars and leads (second hand are just great)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Sardines in sunflower oil<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Lots of toys for puppies and adult foods &#8211; all sizes<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Treats, chews, etc for all dogs and pups &#8211; (out here now for fosters)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Tins of dog meat, especially for puppies<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Soft dogs beds<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Duvets &#8211; getting through lots<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Cleaning products &#8211; for washing bedding, floors, hands, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Used stamps<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">* Wicker baskets to make up hampers for our stall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We currently have a bin in the Pet Shop in Cheddar but hoping to place them in some other places shortly.\u00a0If you or you know of anyone that spare anything the lovely homeless doggies will appreciate greatly xx<a href=\"http:\/\/www.friendsforpets.co.uk\/dog-walking-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Bin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-94\" src=\"http:\/\/www.friendsforpets.co.uk\/dog-walking-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Bin-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Bin\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.friendsforpets.co.uk\/dog-walking-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Bin-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.friendsforpets.co.uk\/dog-walking-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Bin-624x832.jpg 624w, https:\/\/www.friendsforpets.co.uk\/dog-walking-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Bin.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of our community work this year we have recently launched our charity collection bins project.
