This month, we’re shining a spotlight on one of the wonderful teams that help make Friends for Pets Bristol feel like family.

Jodie Thame has been part of the Friends for Pets family for several years, originally joining us as a pet carer. More recently, Jodie has taken on the role of Manager of the Bristol team, and we couldn’t be happier to have her leading the way.

Jodie brings so much care, dedication and love to every animal she looks after. Her passion for providing the very best care shines through in everything she does, and she is a fantastic member of the Friends for Pets team.

As a pet parent, your pet’s safety is always a top priority. But would you know what to do if an emergency happened?

Our sister company, The Pet Academy, is hosting a live, interactive Online Pet First Aid Webinar on 8th October at 7pm, led by our very own certified Pet First Aid Instructor, Tash.

This essential session will teach you how to respond to common pet emergencies and provide first aid while you arrange veterinary care.

You’ll learn important, potentially life-saving skills, including:

🐾 How to deal with cuts and wounds
🐾 How to recognise the signs of toxic ingestion
🐾 What to do if your pet is choking
🐾 How to perform pet CPR
🐾 What to do in a range of other common emergencies

There will also be a live Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and learn from an experienced Pet First Aid Instructor.
