Summer is well and truly here, and we’re delighted to bring you the latest news, updates, opportunities, and celebrations from across the Friends for Pets family. From shining a spotlight on one of our fantastic franchise owners to sharing exciting training opportunities and welcoming new team members, there’s plenty happening this month!
Celebrating Our 2026 Friends for Pets Conference
Last week, we were delighted to bring together franchisees from across the Friends for Pets network for our annual conference, and what an incredible day it was!
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect, share ideas, celebrate successes, and learn from one another. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all our franchisees who travelled from across the country to attend. Your passion, dedication, and commitment to providing outstanding pet care continue to make Friends for Pets such a special community.
A very special thank you goes to Becca Wilson, Founder of Friends for Pets, for organising such a valuable and inspiring event. Bringing together a network of pet care professionals is no small task, and the day was a huge success thanks to all of your hard work and planning.
We would also like to thank our fantastic guest speakers:
Gavin from Maxwells Accountants, who delivered an insightful and informative session packed with practical advice and guidance for running successful businesses.
Graham from Drone SAR, whose fascinating presentation gave us an incredible insight into how drone technology is being used to support search and rescue operations, including helping reunite lost pets with their families.
Both sessions were engaging, educational, and thought-provoking. We all came away having learned something new and feeling inspired for the months ahead.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended and contributed to making the conference such a memorable event. We’re already looking forward to next year’s gathering and continuing to grow, learn, and support one another as part of the Friends for Pets family.
Team Spotlight: Meet Lucy and Friends for Pets Brecon

This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Lucy, who runs Friends for Pets Brecon and has been a valued part of the Friends for Pets family for an incredible eight years.
Lucy brings warmth, dedication, and genuine passion to everything she does. Her commitment to delivering exceptional pet care has helped countless local pet owners enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing their beloved companions are in safe and caring hands.
When she’s not coordinating pet care services, supporting clients, or helping her team provide outstanding care, Lucy enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Lyla and her two adorable Dachshunds, Alfie and Maisie.

As pet parents, keeping our furry family members safe is always a top priority.
That’s why we’re excited to invite you to our upcoming online Pet First Aid Courses, taking place on:
