The South Gloucestershire dog walking team was set up in 2010 and is managed by Jodie. The South Gloucestershire dog walkers provide a range of dog walking and other pet care services, including overnight boarding, pet visits, doggy day care, small animal boarding, cat sitting and house sitting. We also offer bespoke wedding packages to allow your pet to be a part of your special day. Our services can be tailored to the needs of you and your pet. If you need a service that isn’t listed, please contact us and we will do our best to help. Animal welfare and the security of you and your pet is at the core of everything we do. All our pet carers hold a valid DBS certificate, are fully insured, and are trained in canine first aid so you can be assured your pet is being cared for by some of the best pet carers in South Gloucestershire. When arriving at your home we do not use marked vehicles due to the security risk it can pose to your home and your pets. The South Gloucestershire team also covers adjoining areas in Bristol.

Jodie joined Friends for Pets in 2020 as a pet carer. She has always loved animals since childhood and has owned a rabbit, cats, hamsters and 4 dogs. She lives in Bristol with her family and her Cockapoo, Coco. During her time as a pet carer, Jodie was also working for a local charity whilst juggling the demands of a young family. After leaving her charity role to spend more time with her family she was given the opportunity to become more involved with Friends for Pets which led to her taking over the management of the Bristol team in May 2025. Jodie has recently gained a Level 3 Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals qualification. Bristol has an excellent team of dedicated pet carers who provide a range of pet sitting services across Bristol and surrounding areas in South Glos.
